Need to find James Fay, son of Robert Fay, 395th FS, 368th FG. Cliff Gamble a 395th FS pilot has Robert's gun camera film and would love to give this to his son James. Robert Fay was KIA while attacking a bridge in France, 1944.

Returned yesterday from the P-47 Pilots reunion in San Diego. I was there as a guest of a true gentleman - Paul Carll (57th FG, 64th FS), who unfortunately was unable to attend himself. This was the 3rd reunion I have attneded, and it was great to be once again surrounded by all of you Jug Jockeys and your families. Renewed many acquaintances, and made many new ones. It was just a very enjoyable and relaxing 3 1/2 days. Looking forward to seeing all of you in Omaha next year !

I do research on crashed airplane during WWII in the Westerwald area, located 60 mls north of Frankfurt/Main. In one case I try to locate 2nd Lt Herbert Carr Jr of 36FG, 53FS. He crashed october 7th 1944 and was a POW. I also try to get a clear view on seven P-47 crashes is March 1945 in my home county. Any help would be great.
